Every summer, usually towards the end of June, hundreds of brightly coloured funfair wagons roll onto Newcastle's Town Moor, just to the north of the City Centre, and set up one of the biggest travelling funfairs in Europe, if not the world! Last year was the first year I visited, but I was awestruck at the sheer size of the site, with rides, stalls and attractions stretching all the way from the end of Festival Park right up almost as far as the Grandstand Road (for those not from Newcastle, thats quite a long way!) Below are a few pictures from last years Hoppings taken by myself, and I'll hopefully have more from this year online in the coming months.
